Still Waters Lodge, built in 2004, is a nightly rental which can accomodate up to six people in a party. The lodge is located one mile from Leavenworth, Washington on Icicle Road.
The lodge has two bedrooms (one upstairs and one on main floor), two full bathrooms, full kitchen with dishwasher, and a clothes washer/dryer. In the daylight basement is a TV/VCR and a futon pull-out bed.
The lodge and grounds are completely non-smoking, thank you.
On the back deck is a hot tub with a view of the surrounding forest. There is also a large deck at the front with a view of the Icicle Valley and ridges to the east.
Outdoor activities abound... The lodge is bordered by National Forest land. The Icicle Ridge hiking trail is a short walk away and other hiking trails in Icicle Canyon are just a short drive. The Leavenworth Golf Course is less than a half-mile from the lodge. In the winter, the groomed cross-country ski trails are within a mile.
Or you can just relax on the deck and enjoy the great views.
HOW TO GET HERE: From Highway 2 at the west end of Leavenworth, turn on Icicle Road (a 76 gas station is at the junction). After you cross the bridge over the Wenatchee River, you're getting close. At the 1-mile marker, you will see the lodge on your right.
